Rationalist Villa

← Back to the Portfolio

The rigid constraints of pre-existent volume and shape, lead to the conception of a new rhythmic perception of the large travertine blocks, through translation of plans that creates a translucent wood and steel structure “brise-soleil”. The interior is defined by classic tones, reinterpreted in a contemporary way: the ceiling and the floor in the living area are made with the same large format of wood veneer, typical of the nautical interior, with black waxed steel rim finishing.
