The italian luxury fashion house Fendi’s traveling exhibition “Un Art Autre” has recently landed in Beijing, after being held at the ‘”University Art Museum” in Tokyo in the first stop of its world tour. On the opening day, Silvia Venturini Fendi and Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Fendi, were joined by Chinese media, celebrities, and artists to celebrate the brand’s rich heritage and its delicate craftsmanship. Along with Hong Kong actor Daniel Chan, Chinese actress Huang Yi and Taiwanese actress Shu Qi came wearing  impeccably their stunning Fendi dresses. Composed of three sections – “The Origin of Story”, “The Journey of Creativity”, and “Fashion and Technology”, the exhibit highlights the unique hand-crafted artistry of each Fendi fur, which evokes the brand’s history and craftsmanship, as the dedication to innovation. To increase the emotional effect of topics like Lightness, Color, Modernity the American designer Johanna Grawunder has been invited to conceive a charming light/color intervention which in Beijing will be installed in the Fur Atelier floor, at the same time different soundtracks – expressly created for each room – have been commissioned to the roman DJ and producer Flavia Lazzarini. The didactic aspect is not missing, thanks to the historical information as well as the inspirational materials and some other additional contents, available on the touch screens set up along the Exhibition Path and the bags room.
