Administrative Center – Abū Dhabī

← Back to the Portfolio

The administrative center for the management of a new highway axis is located in a desert area, plagued by constant winds throughout the year. The project reinterprets the typical elements of living in the Arab world, solving them in bioclimatic optics: two stone shells protect the heart of the building, that is made by an iron and glass U-shaped structure, in the center of which, there is a court with different artificial ponds. Then, the green ventilated walls on the internal façade and the changeable brise-soleil texture, are in contrast with the plasticity of the shells.
